Anthropology

Our anthropology program offers you a unique window into the past, examining human culture, language, and biology. The programs in archaeology give you hands-on experience through archaeological fieldwork and museum-based research.

Anthropology majors develop an eye for detail and careful observation, skills in analysis and writing, sensitivity to what is unfamiliar, and global knowledge.

Graduates are well prepared for a variety of careers in fields such as criminal justice and forensic anthropology, humanitarian action and international diplomacy, museum studies, public archaeology, and education.
