Center for Social Science Research
Housed within the Sociology and Anthropology Department is the cross-disciplinary Center for Social Science Research (CSSR).
The CSSR specializes in publicly engaged social research that promotes social justice and informs equitable social policy. It provides a full range of research services to diverse clients, including community partners, university affiliates and the private sector.
At its center, are thematic research hubs organized based on core areas of research specialization. In these hubs, faculty, students and alumni from disciplines across Mason pursue individual and collaborative research projects, organize conferences, and develop specialized programming.
