Rasmieyh Abdelnabi is an instructor, researcher, writer, and editor. Her dissertation was titled, "A Gendered Politics of Life: The Feminization of Resistance, Social Reproduction, Palestinian Embroidery–Women’s Work Toward Surviving and Thriving." Dr. Abdelnabi’s master's thesis focused on women activists in the Arab world. Prior to beginning the PhD program, she spent 5 years teaching and conducting research in the Middle East.
