Christian Rafael Suero

Sociology: Sociology of education, well-being, labor, race, and class.

Christian Rafael Suero is a doctoral student of sociology at George Mason University who studies labor, class, well-being, within higher education. He currently works as a Resident Director for George Mason University's Housing and Residence Life and research assistant for School of Integrative Studies. Mr. Suero is an advocate for graduate and first-generation college students and has held a number of positions within University Life such as, President of the Graduate and Professional Student Association (GAPSA), George Mason University's Board of Visitor student member (2016-2017), Graduate Council, First Generation Student Workgroup, and an active member in a number of committees within University Life. His Master's capstone on first-generation students and internships earned him the 2017 District of Columbia Sociological Society's Irene B. Taeuber Graduate Student Paper Award.
