Maegan is a 2nd year MA student studying bioarchaeology. Her thesis research embraces cross-disciplinary theories and methods from both bioarchaeology and mortuary archaeology to reconstruct the lived experiences and the embodied identities of individuals from the Middle Sicán site of Huaca Las Ventanas (900-1050/1100 CE, north coast of Peru).
