MA in Anthropology

Erik Josephson

Erik graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead (Go Dragons!), recently ranked as the coldest campus in the lower 48.  He is currently interested in the transmission of culture among first and second generation Salvadorans living in Prince William County, Virginia. His research assistants suspect he just likes Papusas and wanted a reason to eat them more often. On weekends, he can usually be found either smoking some tasty meat in his backyard (weather is not a factor) and making his own BBQ sauces or spending time with his wife and daughter. His research interests include family life, food and culture, immigration and child rearing practices.
