How to do a Literature Review

A Workshop for ANTH & SOCI Graduate Students

When: Tuesday, April 2 from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM

Led by: Dr. Rashmi Sadana (rsadana@gmu.edu)

This workshop will offer a step-by-step guide for preparing a literature review. A literature review is the foundation of your thesis or dissertation proposal in that it is a review of the secondary literature on your proposed topic. You might also be asked to write a literature review for a course assignment. It is a building block for any research project.
