Sociologist Dr. Amaka Okechukwu will be giving a presentation entitled “Racial Political Strategy in Conservative Mobilization Against Race-And-Class Inclusive University Admissions" on Thursday, Nov 17, 10:00-11:15, Johnson Center 325 (Meeting Room A). Sociology and Anthropology faculty and students are invited to attend her talk. Dr. Okechukwu’s research focuses on social movements, race and urban politics. Dr. Okechukwu received her Ph.D. in Sociology from New York University in 2015 and is currently working as a Post-Doctoral Scholar at the Center for Advanced Social Science Research at New York University.
