The film The Fourth World will be shown along with a Q&A session with Professor Rashmi Sadana. The key objective of Mason's Human Rights and Global Justice Working Group film series is to promote discussion among Mason students and faculty about the diverse ways in which people and societies around the world experience and cope with various byproducts of globalization, including violence, poverty, and injustice. We hope that this year’s series will encourage Mason students to wrestle with the challenges of global justice not only in faraway places such as Kenya and Iraq, but on our own borders and at home as well. The film series is organized by the Human Rights & Global Justice Working Group at the Center for Global Studies in collaboration with key partners including Latin American Studies, Film and Media Studies, Middle East Studies, and the Cities & Globalization Working Group.
