About the PSA Monthly Brown Bag Series:

The Monthly Brown Bag Series is a new initiative of the the Public Sociology Association (PSA), and it serves as a space for early career scholars and students in sociology to present their research and practice in a low-stakes capacity. This is a multi-institutional event, and it is a great opportunity to learn about new research, network with other scholars and students, gain presentation experience, and receive feedback.

Theme for February:

The theme for February is titled, "On Community Well-Being: Topics on Food Insecurity, Wealth Building, and Belonging" and will feature speakers Emily Bonner (University of Oklahoma) and Jill Howard (George Mason University).
