Prof Anne Schiller publishes new book on Florentine Merchants

Professor Anne Schiller's latest book, Merchants in the City of Art: Work, Identity, and Social Change in a Florentine Neighborhood was published this spring by Toronto University Press. The book is based upon anthropological field research that Schiller conducted in Italy between 2005 and 2015. Schiller is currently serving as Fulbright-Fondazione CON IL SUD Visiting Professor of Anthropology in the Department of History, Social Sciences, and Human Studies at the University of Salento, Lecce, Puglia.
