Seventy scholars–all past, current or future residents of the Kluge Center–converged on Capitol Hill on June 11th for a day-long festival of scholarship to celebrate 15 years of The John W. Kluge Center at the Library of Congress. Sociology Professor Johanna Bockman was a Kluge fellow at the Library of Congress in 2008-2009. She joined fellow sociologists and Kluge fellows William Julius Wilson and Fernando Enrique Cardoso at the festival. She engaged in one of more than 30 "lightning conversations," in which she discussed notions of world order with former Kissinger Chair and political scientist Benjamin Fordham.
The video of her lightning conversation can be found below (14:34-23:40) or here.
