On May 23rd, sociology professor Johanna Bockman will receive the DC Sociological Society's 2013 Morris Rosenberg Award for her book Markets in the Name of Socialism: The Left-Wing Origins of Neoliberalism. This award is for outstanding sociological achievement during the past three years by a member of the DCSS. During the 2013-14 academic year, Professor Bockman will be on leave conducting research, funded in part by a National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) summer grant.
