Kristina Rose honored with 2024 CHSS alumni service award

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is proud to honor Kristina Rose, BA Sociology '84, with the 2024 CHSS alumni service award. 

Rose was appointed by President Biden to serve as director of the office for victims of crime. In this role she oversees more than $9 billion in grant funding to support crime victims and survivors. Prior to her appointment, Rose led the victim care and support effort at the Department of Defense Independent Review Commission on Sexual Assault in the Military.
