Rasmieyh Abdelnabi received Palestinian-American Research Council Fellowship

Congratulations to Sociology PhD student Rasmieyh Abdelnabi for being awarded the highly competitive Palestinian American Research Center (PARC) Fellowship. Rasmieyh is currently conducting the fieldwork for her dissertation, "“The Feminization of Resistance, Social Reproduction, and Palestine: Women’s Work toward Surviving and Thriving," in which she explores the making of informal politics in women-only spaces in Palestinian communities experiencing intractable systems of oppression - military occupation and patriarchy. Rasmieyh received the Palestinian American Research Center (PARC) Fellowship for the coming year to continue her fieldwork in Palestine. The primary mission of the PARC is to improve scholarship about Palestinian affairs, expand the pool of experts knowledgeable about the Palestinians, and strengthen linkages among Palestinian, American, and foreign research institutions and scholars.
