Sociology: religion, social networks, culture

Kim is a part-time student in her final semester of the masters program. Formerly a teacher and now the full-time Director of Community Engagement for a local church, Kim's professional experience has been invested in understanding people’s motivations and the impact of culture on their everyday lives. Her study of sociology is aimed at exploring how belief systems are formed, acted upon within groups, and the resulting effects on society. Kim professionally uses this information to identify what engages people with institutions and organizations. She also thoroughly enjoys learning from the many interesting research pursuits of professors and students in this program!
