Sociology: immigrant integration, stigma, gender and race, social justice

Alysia Blake is a doctoral student of Sociology at George Mason University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg Virginia. Her research topics of interests includes the intersection of race and gender, mental illness, and stigma. She is currently employed as a Survey Statistician at the U.S. Census Bureau where she serves as a subject matter expert and team lead.
