Sociology: religion, culture, social networks

Kim is a part-time student in her second year of the masters program. Formerly a teacher and now the full-time Director of Community Engagement for a local church, Kim's professional experience has been invested in understanding people’s motivations and the impact of culture on their everyday lives. Her study of sociology is aimed at broadening her understanding of how belief systems are formed, acted upon within groups, and the resulting effects on society. She also thoroughly enjoys learning from the many interesting research pursuits of professors and students in this program!
