I have spent many years working with indigenous peoples organizations and multidisciplinary research projects in the Asia Pacific region on issues of public health, community psychology, indigenous sovereignty, and human rights. My research interests pick up themes of trauma, history, and memory, and more specifically cultural psychodynamics, the psychic life of histories, and conceptions of inheritance in understanding trauma experience.
