Examines social factors involved in development of delinquency, including family, political economy, schooling, community environment and culture. Examines various theories of delinquency; rates of delinquency in relation to age, race, gender and social class; and legal system that addresses causes, consequences, and policies of punishment and rehabilitation. Equivalent to CRIM 302.
