Overview Honors and Research

As a sociology major, you are developing the research skills to investigate the questions that interest you. You are learning how to conduct surveys, interviews, systematic observation, and to evaluate sources. The research skills, critical thinking, and strong writing that you are developing as a sociology major—are highly valued by prospective employers and graduate schools.
