Anthropologist Dr. Christopher Morris will be giving a presentation entitled "Biotrade, Ethnic Capture, and Political Disorder in South Africa." on Thursday, Dec 8, 10:30- 12:00, Johnson Center Room 240A (Paul Robeson Room). Sociology and Anthropology faculty and students are invited to attend her talk. Dr. Morris’s work focuses on extractive industries, indigenous rights, pharmaceutical politics, environmental governance and ethnicity in southern Africa. Dr. Morris received his Ph.D. in Anthropology from University of Colorado in 2014 and is currently an Assistant Professor at Clarkson University.
