Archaeologist Dr. Amanuel Beyin will be giving a presentation entitled "Early Human Dispersals and Shoreline Habitats: Ongoing Research in the Red Sea Basin and Lake Turkana (Northeast Africa)"

on Wednesday, January 28, 10:30-noon, Johnson Center 240A (Robeson Room).  Sociology and anthropology faculty and students are invited to attend his talk.  Dr. Beyin’s research is concerned with human origins and dispersal routes out of Africa, shoreline adaptations, and the transition to food production in East Africa, Kenya and Sudan.  Dr. Beyin received his Ph.D. from SUNY-Stony Brook in 2008 and is currently a lecturer in anthropology at the University of Southern Indiana.
