&lt;p&gt;A minor in anthropology enriches many majors with its holistic and cross-cultural perspective. It is is a good fit for students majoring biology, communication, English, history, psychology, sociology, and others. This minor will be useful for anyone contemplating an international career or a future profession involving culturally-diverse populations.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h5&gt;&lt;a href="http://immigrationstudies.gmu.edu/"&gt;Minor in Immigration Studies&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/h5&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A minor in immigration studies provides an interdisciplinary and comparative understanding of the immigrant experience, ethnic identity, assimilation, ethnic exclusion and conflict, and refugee situations. This minor will prepare students to contribute to the ongoing national debate about immigration.&lt;/p&gt;
