Section Information for Summer 2015
We live in an increasingly small world, yet we cling to habits and practices from previous eras. What meaning does race or ethnicity have for those of us in 2015, and how has race or ethnicity shaped our concept of self and how we worship, play, raise families, and engage in the world of politics, work and finances. The course analyses these issues and illustrate the manner in which they shape our attitudes, behavior, and institutions.
