Introduces students to the paradigms surrounding the study of human remains and their associated mortuary contexts. Explores the anthropological and evolutionary paradigms that inform bioarchaeological research and examines case studies where Bioarchaeology actively interacts with these theoretical paradigms. Opportunities for research on bioarchaeological data are provided to all students.
