ANTH 390 is the first course in a two semester seminar sequence required for all students seeking a B.A. in Anthropology.  This course describes the epistemological context for theory as well as traces some of anthropology’s origins and developments in theory and practice over approximately the first 100 years of its formal existence.

Recommended Prerequisite: ANTH 114 and 60 credits, including 6 credits of ANTH 300-level (or above) courses, or permission of instructor
