U.S. State Department Honor Award Winner 2014, Sociology Graduate Student Abdallah Hendawy

The U.S. State Department has honored Mason Sociology PhD student Abdallah Hendawy. This year's Honor Award of the State Department's mission on Egypt 2014- 2015 was presented to Abdallah Hendawy for his consistent outstanding political performance in reporting on the unfolding events in Egypt that was key to informing mission Egypt and Washington. The Honor Award is an annual award of the United States Department of State presented to groups or individuals in recognition of a special act or service or sustained extraordinary performance in a certain field or science covering a period of one year or longer.
