Prof. Rashmi Sadana is on study leave for Spring 2015 in Delhi, India, where she is researching the city's new metro rail system and how it is transforming urban space and people's everyday lives. Her fieldwork will explore the Metro as a massive infrastructural grid, a new technology, and a new set of public spaces. How, she asks, might we think anew issues of mobility and the built environment in this city of 16 million?
