SOCI grad student wins Spirit of King Award

The Department of Sociology and Anthropology congratulates Christian Suero on winning the 2017 Spirit of Kind award. For his efforts to help his fellow graduate students’ voices be heard and amplified at the commonwealth’s largest public research university, Christian Suero has been named a 2017 Spirit of King awardee by George Mason’s Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Multicultural Education. Suero is the president of Mason's Graduate and Professional Student Association, is finishing his MA thesis, and has started PhD courses.
